Great Success for the Sinarades Philharmonic Orchestra at the 41st Philharmonic and Cheerleading Festival of the Municipality of Botevgrad in Bulgaria

The three-day 41st Brass Bands and Cheerleading Festival of the Municipality of Botevgrad in Bulgaria was a great success, where the Sinarades Philharmonic participated at the invitation of the local municipality. On 18 September, under the direction of the chief musician Alexandros Koskinas, the musicians of our Philharmonic presented a concert in the central square of Botevgrad.

The program featured Mikis Theodorakis' work "The Paperweights", arranged for brass band and solo xylophone by Elias Gogidis. The soloist of the evening was the teacher and musician of our philharmonic, Maria Grammenou, who received a warm applause from the audience for her excellent performance.

On September 19, the Philharmonic participated in a parade in the same square, followed by a repeat of the previous day's concert.

The Board of the Sinarades Philharmonic Orchestra would like to thank the Municipality of Botevgrad for the invitation and the excellent hospitality.

Below are photos of the participation of the Sinarades Philharmonic Orchestra in the festival.
